Electricity In Egypt, there are 2 power sockets of type C and type F. In fact, Type C is known as the standard “Euro” plugs. This socket works with plug E and F. Type F is known as “Schuko” plugs. This socket works with plug C and plug E.

Voltage and Frequency

The regular voltage in electricity in Egypt is 220 Volt. If the standard voltage in your country is ranging between 220 – 240 V, you can easily use your electric devices like in electricity Europe, UK, and Australia. On the contrary, If the standard voltage in your country is ranging between 100 – 127 V, you will need a voltage converter to use your devices like in Canada, United States, and South America.

The standard frequency is 50 Hertz in Egypt. If the standard frequency in your country is 50 Hz, you can use it for your device. If the standard frequency in your country is not 50 Hz, do not use it because it may cause damage to your device.
